dion's was born in 2008 when founder Dion Reyes decided that El Paso deserved a pizza experience that was truly its own. Starting from a modest kitchen on the west side of town, Dion hand-stretched every dough, sourced every ingredient locally, and built every pizza with the kind of care that only a family can bring.

2008

Where It All Began

Dion Reyes opens the first dion's pizza kitchen on El Paso's west side. Armed with a family recipe, a wood-fired oven, and an unshakeable belief in great food, he serves his first 50 pizzas on opening day.

2011

First Expansion & Award

dions wins "El Paso's Best Pizza" for the first time. The recognition sparks city-wide demand, leading to a full restaurant remodel and a doubling of seating capacity to welcome the growing dions community.

2014

The dions Menu Evolution

We launch our signature Southwestern pizza line — bold flavors inspired by the El Paso-Juárez border culture. Green chile, smoked brisket, and chipotle honey become instant customer favorites, cementing dion's as a truly local icon.

2018

10 Years & Going Strong

Dions celebrates its 10th anniversary with a community block party attended by over 2,000 El Pasoans. We introduce our loyalty program and launch online ordering, making dion's pizza more accessible than ever before.

2021

Catering & Franchise Launch

dions officially launches its catering division and franchise program, bringing the dion's experience to offices, events, and new locations. Our second location opens in Northeast El Paso to serve the growing demand for dions pizza.
